Motivation Monday

Only 160 days until Christmas, people!!! Must...Get...Motivated...

I've had my container of foamy goodness looking at me for some time now, but I need to bust a move. In 2014 my inspiration was the Zombie Gingerbread Man(slaughter), while 2015 was "Fleece Navidad," reindeer and snowmen. Hmm...what will inspire me for Christmas 2016. Maybe Santa Claus? Piggies?

Springtime pretties

Hello! Well, Valentine's Day came and went without so much as a paper heart, so I cured my craft guilt by making these pretty butterflies to decorate my office window. They are really easy to make (see video link below).

The only thing I did differently to the video was to secure the butterfly "nose" in place with the glue gun.

Supplies used:

• Colorful construction paper (stolen from my daughter's stash)
• Scissors
• Glue gun

Ornaments, not SNOREnaments

Crazy Christmas Crafting commenced in mid November. I think I'll have to start in September next year because there are soooo many things I would have loved to make!

Supplies used:

• Craft foam (white: plain and texture, glittery: yellow, green, black, red, pink)
• Acrylic paint (orange, black, pink)
• Buttons and fabric scraps
• Iridescent white glitter
• Textured snow paint
•  Pom poms (white)
